Session Objectives:
By the end of the workshop, students will be able to:
Draw from disability justice and abolition medicine theory to think critically about the medical field;
Use zine-making as a tool for creative reflection and social critique.

Suggested Prep Time: 90 minutes
Facilitator Pre-Reading: Review the zine examples (browse/skim), print out the Small Group Activity Guides and Zine Making 101 Guide, and gather the necessary supplies (i.e., paper, pens, etc.)
Participant Preparation:
Suggested Prep Time: 60 minutes
Participant Pre-Reading: Review the zine examples (browse/skim), review the Zine Making 101 Guide and gather any materials relevant to zine-making (i.e., photos, magazines/newspapers, etc.) that could be used for zine artwork or messaging.
